Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg faced each other this Sunday and, like last season, everything ended in a draw at the Volkswagen Arena ( 2-2 ).

In the first part with much to tell, there were several emotions felt on both sides. First, Marmoush put the home team ahead after just 10 minutes, but Frankfurt’s reaction was overwhelming.

With Aurélio Buta in the starting eleven, Eintracht reached the tie with an assist from the Portuguese. In the 22nd minute, Muani finished in the best way for the 1-1 and, four minutes later, Ndicka signed the scoreboard turnaround.  Even so, before the break, Gerhardt would end up putting Wolfsburg back in the game, with the 2-2.  If the first half was full of goals, the second was less exciting.

Both teams tried to manage the result and, although the best opportunities belonged to the hosts, the tie ended up being the final result.  In a round in which the 3rd (Union Berlin), 4th (RB Leipzig), and 5th (Freiburg) classified in the Bundesliga lost points, Frankfurt was no exception and missed the opportunity to get even closer to the European places.
