Nigerian artist, Davido was imagined presenting with American hotshots, J.Cole and Trey Songz, who additionally brought his 7-month-old child, Noah to the Madison Square Garden, where they all viewed the Knicks versus Nets ball game on Sunday, November 25, 2019. With only 12 days till the release of J. Cole’s debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, the buzz around the album is reaching new heights. He released a video and a song on Wednesday, the vivid video for his radio-friendly but still good hit “Can’t Get Enough” with Trey Songz and a rap-dream nerd’s duet “Mr. Nice Watch” with his Roc Nation boss, Jay-Z.

What about that long-awaited Jay-Z/J? Cole collaboration? It’s a solid album cut after a few listens, but not a game-changer. Cole’s skittering backdrop (he’s in charge of most of the Sideline Story’s production) allows the freshmen and professor to keep the lyrics basic. “Please hurry up with your pictures / I’ve got to make history,” Cole says. With this opening internal rhyme, Jay’s preoccupation with watches continues: “Got a Hublot, call it Tebow / I’ve got that bitch strapped to my wrist.”
