Tecno Camon 17 Pro unboxing
The Camon 17 Pro is contained in a box that’s white on the outside and blue on the inside the same color two-piece box. On the outside, the box is white. On the inside, All in all, the Google Pixel 3a XL is just as well-built and solid as its more expensive siblings, and it’s plenty capable in and of itself. The case and screen protector are, Attractive, powerful, and well-constructed, the ZTYM drains battery at an insane pace. All I could do was to watch my battery die as soon as possible and try not to
Design and Build
The Camon 17 Pro’s rear is made of a single piece of plastic but it doesn’t feel as rugged as you would expect from that material. The rest of the shell is also made out of the super seal, The phone has a unibody metal construction with a finely brushed matte finish that feels nice to the touch. The rear of the phone features a clear plastic panel that houses the camera and a dual-LED, The notification light, earpiece, and status indicators are discretely nestled into the top bezel. At the top of the lower row – that is, at the bottom of the phone – are the speaker grille and a light/proximity sensor. A quick primer for those less familiar with the Samsung camera app. It’s one of the few with intuitive, user-friendly controls. You tap a thumbnail to view that photo, and swipe it to the 6MP dual cameras Charging is also done via the micro-USB port, and there’s no USB-OTG support.
It is designed specifically for customers who want an affordable, yet powerful handset. The phone has a metal unibody design and it feels solid in your hand; the buttons feel sturdy and have nice travel. There’s not much of an aesthetic difference between it and other smartphones in its class, but that’s alright — most phones look pretty similar these days anyway. The only thing I didn’t like about its design was that there was no 3.5mm headphone jack, which is kind of silly for a phone in 2018 — but thankfully you get used to it after using Bluetooth headphones for some time.
The Tecno Camon 17 Pro is made of plastic and glass, which gives it that premium feel. On its front side, there are three bezels lined up at almost equal distances—an earpiece cutout above a 5MP front camera and LED flash on one side and a proximity sensor on another. The left earpiece has an audio jack and a microphone, while the other sides have volume controls (left) and power/lock buttons (right). The back panel is entirely covered by the glass; there’s no branding or model name but Tecno did use an imprint for regulatory information such as an IC number, radio frequencies, etc.
The first thing that you’ll notice about the Tecno Camon 8 Pro is its unibody metal design. The back of the phone feels like smooth, slightly rough glass and adds enough grip to prevent you from dropping it, but it’s also prone to smudges. The device has rounded edges on both sides and bezels that aren’t too thin or too thick, making it comfortable to hold in one hand. On top of that, we really liked how light it felt despite its large display and ample battery capacity.
The first thing that will strike you also about the Tecno Camon 17 Pro is its build quality. It has an all-metal body that feels premium in your hands and manages to squeeze in IP67 certification for dust and water resistance, something that’s impressive for a phone in its price range. The 5.99-inch display at full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2160) looks fantastic with crisp colors and deep blacks. The 18:9 aspect ratio makes it comfortable to hold too, although I found my hands completely covered up part of it while I was typing (an issue common among devices with near bezel-less displays).
Tecno Camon Pros, Cons and Verdict
Tecno Camon 17 Pro is one of those smartphones that you’ll definitely want to take a look at if you’re on your hunt for an affordable device that offers good specs and performance. If we have to name three things we love about it, they would be its battery life, design and screen. We also like how it is made of metal, which gives it an alluring feel. However, it’s not without flaws as its cameras could have been better – even more so given its price tag.
The Tecno Camon 17 Pro review is an Android phone that features a 6.2 HD+ display and a dual camera setup on its back. The phone comes in blue, white, black and red colours and offers an 18:9 screen aspect ratio that makes it ideal for streaming content. This screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection so you can use it as comfortably as possible while safeguarding it from scratches or any other damage if you accidentally drop it. Another thing worth noting is that although its resolution of 720x1520p doesn’t seem particularly high when compared to what most smartphones have on offer nowadays, its AMOLED panel means images are sharp and easy to see even under bright sunlight.
Tecno Camon Battery Life
The Tecno Camon 8 Pro comes with a 4000mAh battery which can easily last you two days. If you’re in dire need of charging, there is fast charging available so that your phone will charge up in no time at all. The battery life on Tecno’s phones is quite impressive. Considering they are yet to include any wireless charging options, their endurance is pretty good!
The phone has an awesome 4,000mAh battery, which is definitely one of its key selling points. The battery life on Android devices typically sucks in general, but my Tecno phone lasts a solid day or two before needing a charge, and that’s not something I can say about other phones I’ve used.
This Camon 8 Pro comes with a non-removable battery capacity of 3000mAh. This should be sufficient for most of your daily needs, but if you’re looking for something that will last an entire day and into the next morning, then perhaps you should consider getting yourself a power bank. Furthermore, it supports 5V/2A charging which means charging shouldn’t take long. For reference, I could fully charge my Tecno Camon 8 Pro from about 5% to 100% in about 90 minutes using an ampere charger (not included). The average user probably won’t ever even notice its battery life because we tend not to do things that deplete batteries – like stream media while they charge!
If there’s one area where I think Android devices have an advantage over Apple’s iOS operating system, it has to be battery life. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro definitely seems like it will last you all day long. On average, I was getting about 14 hours on screen before I needed to charge up again. That is almost twice as much as some of my other phones, including ones from Samsung and Huawei, which are at about 7 hours on average. It also charges quickly; about two hours of charging gets you up to around 60%. Charging all the way takes another hour or so. There’s no wireless charging here (or IP67 waterproofing), but that would probably push costs up, which leads me nicely onto.
Which Tecno phone has the best camera 2021?
Before we reveal which Tecno phone has a better camera, it’s worth noting that all three smartphones in question pack an array of advanced camera features. While there are no dual or triple rear cameras on board any of these phones, there is support for 4K video recording (at 30fps) and background bokeh effects are also available. Other neat camera tricks include live filters, face beauty effects and panorama shooting capabilities. However, once you delve into more detail, there are some subtle differences between each handset. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro features three cameras on its rear panel: two at 16 megapixels (one colour; one black & white) and one at 5 megapixels.
What is the difference between Tecno Camon 17P and Tecno Camon 17 Pro?
Camon 17 Pro comes equipped with more and better features. Some of the notable features are 6GB RAM and Android 7.1 which is expected in an affordable phone like Camon 17 Pro. However, it is hard to justify the difference between the Camon 17P and Tecno Camon 17 Pro phones based on their similarities. The tecno camon 17P has 1gb RAM less than Tecno Camon 17 pro but offers similar display resolution and storage capacity making it a potential choice for budget oriented customers.
Camon 17 Pro is more upgraded version of Camon 17P. The difference between the both phone is as followings; 1. Tecno Camon 17P has 16MP+5MP rear camera and 16 MP front facing camera, while Tecno Camon 17 Pro has 20MP + 2 MP rear camera and 8MP Front Facing Camera . 2. Tecno Camon 17 Pro is the first tecno phone that have 20 Megapixel Primary Cameras, it’s features advanced image stabilization, and an adaptive contrast sensor (ABS) to provide clearer photos in low light conditions. 3.
Which Camon is the best?
While the Tecno Camon 17 Pro is the best of the three in terms of performance, the cameras are the weakest point. However, if you want a highly reliable phone at an affordable price, you should get one. It has been getting good reviews since it was launched and can be referred to as one of Africa’s top 10 most powerful phones 2018. If we talk about its design, build quality and battery life, we think it is worth more than what you’re paying for.
The Camon 17 Pro is Tecno’s new smartphone for 2018, and it packs in all of the features you’d expect from a device in its price range. The screen is large, offering an 18:9 aspect ratio, and there’s 64GB of storage included as standard—but you can also add up to 128GB via microSD card. On paper, that looks like enough power for most users’ needs. However, does Tecno’s latest phone live up to its claims? What about battery life? And what about software updates?
